Ross has over 20 years of accounting, auditing and tax experience, government auditing and consulting experience. He performs audits of the employee benefit plans of companies, unions, government, and nonprofit organizations. He is experienced in the analysis, design, and implementation of accounting systems (manual and computerized) that comply with Florida Statutes. Through the AICPA’s Peer Review Program, he performs peer reviews of other CPA firms, which have included reviewing governmental engagements, since 1990.
While Ross still maintains numerous tax engagements, his main focus is primarily on Berman Hopkins’ educational practice group which provides audit services to higher education, charter schools, and private schools. Ross and his team at Berman Hopkins provide an essential resource to educational institutions to support their efforts in dealing with complex compliance requirements.
Ross believes that the most rewarding part of his career is when he knows his contributions has lead to the success of his clients’ business.
