Abbey Redden, Tax Partner
Abbey Redden has over 30 years of experience in public and corporate accounting. After working in China as a tax consultant, Abbey joined Berman Hopkins in 2009 and became a Tax Partner in 2014. Before her time in China, she was a Tax Partner with a CPA firm in Jacksonville, Florida. She is also a Certified Financial Planner.
Abbey has focused on tax consulting and compliance needs for closely held businesses, high-wealth individuals, and estates & trusts. Her readiness to confront difficult situations, ask challenging questions, consider long-term implications, and make tough decisions has led to tangible, measurable, and impactful results for the firm.
Abbey strives to be a trusted business adviser to her clients by efficiently utilizing a multi-faceted approach, integrating corporate accounting, auditing, and tax management to develop a value-added strategic plan. Agnes Gregory, Tax Partner
Since joining Berman Hopkins in 2021 as a Tax Partner, Agnes Gregory has rapidly established herself as an asset to the firm and made significant contributions to the profession and her community. Before Berman Hopkins, Agnes was the CFO of a manufacturing company where she was involved in various aspects of the business, including human resources, IT, finance, and operations. With 20 years of experience in public accounting, she brings a unique perspective to the firm and approaches work with a collaborative mindset to promptly deliver tangible, measurable, and impactful results. She continuously challenges herself to become a better all-around professional and demonstrates herself as a dynamic leader fueled by an unwavering drive to succeed.

Carla McRae, Business Advisory Partner
As the Business Advisory Partner, Carla McRae has demonstrated exceptional commitment, competence, and leadership. Her unique business perspective and exemplary work ethic have been instrumental to the firm's growth and success.
Carla has 18 years of extensive, action-oriented experience, including a combination of public accounting, finance, and chief executive leadership. She launched her distinguished career at Berman Hopkins before spending several years in the private sector, leading multi-million-dollar expansions and successful sales of organizations. In 2020, she returned to Berman Hopkins and took control of the Business Advisory department. Within two years, from the ground up, she has developed it into a multi-million-dollar department. She accomplished this by executing a multi-faceted strategic plan and business model that concentrated on expanding services, boosting client engagement, and developing the team. Under her guidance, it has become one of the firm's most respected and successful departments.

Laura Anne Pray, Audit Partner
Laura Anne Pray has over 18 years of extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and tax related to public housing authorities, their component units, and affiliated entities. Laura Anne launched her career as an associate staff auditor with Berman Hopkins. Her unique perspective and intrinsic belief in the Berman Hopkins mission, vision, and core values led to her promotion to Audit Partner in 2018.
She oversees our housing authority and not-for-profit audits and is a highly trusted business adviser to her clients. She helps clients navigate the many uncertainties they face while developing a value-added strategic plan. Her expertise in this industry has resulted in a significant increase in revenue for the firm.
She takes time to mentor and invest in her team's personal and professional growth.
