Your 2024 Outlook:

In 2024, we are embarking on a mission to work more closely with SaaS (Software as a Service) clients. Our expansion plan includes offering Fractional CFO/Controller/Accounting Services and launching a podcast to support this rapidly growing industry. We are blending our existing processes from other industry sectors with my personal experience and passion as a CFO within the software development SaaS industry.

What's a fun or little-known fact about you?

I always share that one of my exciting life experiences has included cage diving with Great White Sharks in South Africa, which tends to surprise those who know me primarily as a professional Certified Public Accountant.

Talk about your most significant deal in the past year and how did you get it done?

I launched an integrated team of rapid payment response support for the U.S. Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Programs, funded by the Consolidated Appropriations Act and the American Rescue Plan Act, to assist renters facing related financial hardships. I was the executive responsible for fiscal agent services and managed over $127 million of funds and over 50,000 individual disbursements to at-risk families and individuals. My certified public accountant license and extensive experience in payment disbursements provided strategies that expedited the delivery of the funds while focusing on minimizing fraud risks. I ensured payments moved quickly and accurately, provided prompt and respectful responses to recipients during these anxious times, and ensured families had housing stability. I was responsible for developing this strategic business opportunity and developing an innovative solution for the firm while equally serving the broader mission of the programs and individuals in need. The program's reputation and success led to the opportunity to serve multiple large communities in need.
